I am looking for info on the Joseph Ivas Aman. He was born April 1862 in Alabama and died Feb, 11,1911 in Leon Co. texas. His father was born in Alabama and his mother was born in Tennessee,but don't know what their names are. He married the first time to a Josephine. She died in Feb, of 1886 21 days after giving birth to my grandmother Nancy(Nannie)Jane Aman. She had a brother named Joseph lemuel Aman bornin 1879. He married Susan Ann Baker Hunecut March 8,1888 in Leon Co, texas. Their children were Rose Stella,Ella (Ellie),Margaret(Maggie),Bettie,Elie Coy,Aldonia E. & Dora B. Joseph and his mother & family came to Texas from Alabama and got as far as Calvert and she got the fever and died there and they buried her there with all the other who died from the fever. Joseph went by Judge Ivas and J. I. Aman. On his marriage record it is J.I. Aman. In 1910 he was living in Leon Co texas and was 48 years old. 1880 he was 19 living in Leon Co.and working on a farm.
