This is the family of John and Annie Aman in the census records. I started in 1900 and worked my way back in time:

1900 Census, Series T623, Reel 604, Enumeration District 125, Sheet 2, Lines 4-15
Precinct 2 of Election District 6
49 Cumberland Street, Cumberland, Allegany County, MD
Date of visit: 1 June 1900

John Aman .. Aug 1856 43 Labor
Annie ...... Jun 1860 40
Magie M. ... Dec 1882 18
Frank ...... Apr 1883 17 Baker
George ..... Feb 1885 15 Labor
Edward ..... Apr 1887 13 Labor
Joseph ..... Jun 1888 12
Clara ...... Nov 1889 11
Mary T. .... Jul 1892 8
Loretta .... Feb 1895 5
Louise ..... Jul 1897 3
William .... Nov 1899 7/12

Notes:
All were born in Maryland.
John and Annie’s parents were born in Germany.
They were married 19 years with 10 children.
John owned his mortgaged house.
All were literate except the 3 younger children.
I think the head of the following family was a baker too but I didn’t write down any details.

I didn't have much success in 1880, so here is 1870:

1870 Census, Series M593, Reel 566, Page 59 (222A), Lines 10-13
House #390, Family #417
District 6, Allegany County, MD
Date of visit: 6 July 1870

George Amon .. 54 Bavaria .. RR (railroad) hand
Margaret ..... 54 Bavaria
John ......... 14 Maryland
Margaret ..... 10 Maryland

The name looks more like AMON than AMAN, but that's not uncommon in the census.
George’s value of real estate was $800.
George was a U.S. citizen and worked as a railroad hand, the same occupation as Frederick Wonder whose family, also from Bavaria, was listed prior to George’s family. The Wonder family: Fred’k 40, Catharine 38, Joseph 10, Margarette 8, Annie 5, Mary 3, John 7/12.

Here's the earliest census record I found, in 1860:

1860 Census, Page 77, House Family #555
Allegany County MD

George Amonn (35 Germany) Laborer
Ann M. (33 Germany)
John (4 Maryland)

Likely further searching could locate these families in 1880, and after 1900. Also, John and Annie’s marriage was most likely in Allegany County MD, so you could ask the County Clerk’s Office to search their records.
