I was born in Fort Wayne,Indiana 2/4/47
and my grandmothers maiden name was
Angeline Aman (Used to be spelled Amann)
Her father was Louis Amann who was born in
Ohio,,somewhere around Dayton.
His mother and father was Joseph Amann
and Jacobina Wurst, We believe them to be of German ancestry.The date I have for Louis Amann's birth is 2/14/1840 in Montgomery Co.
Ohio. My belief is that Joseph Amann died
and his mother remarried a man named Frank
Fischer,in Fort Wayne. I have a Rosina Amann
b in Dayton, Ohio on 3/13/1839. She is the sister of Louis Amann. It was noted that she came to Fort Wayne in 1841 or 1842 with her mother Jacobina,a widow, and her brothers,
Louis, Charles and Henry.
