Hi David, I saw your Alvarado Forum entry and I thought maybe you would recognize any information on my message. I'm searching for my Mother's long lost family, her Father was: RAFAEL OR MANUEL OR FRANCISCO ALVARADO, later changed to MANRIQUEZ OR MARTINEZ, why I do not know. My Grandmother was: JUANA VALENZUELA OR JUANA FLORENTINA VALENZUELA ALVARADO, she married my Grandfather in Sinaloa,Mex, althougy I believe he was from Jalisco,Mex. My Mother: MARIE HERIBERTA ALVARADO OR MARIA GALVAN, was born on March 16th,1904 en Campo #5, Los Mochis,Ahome,Sin, her brother was born in the same area around 1906: JUAN GALVAN (not sure where the surname Galvan came from, I believe it's on my Mother's side. Around 1910 my Grandmother died, at least that's what we were told, my Grandfather remarried to: ROSENDA ALGONDA FLORES, no further info on her, at this time he changed his name to Martinez or Manriquez, the last contact with them was around 1955 in Milpitas or El Quemado,Sin. My Mother immigrated to the USA around 1917-1920, she married Samuel Romero an American Citizen of Spanish decent, she died in San Juan Capistrano,CA,USA in 1979. If anyone can help me, I have tried everything on the internet, gone to Sinaloa 2 times, sent letters to the Mexican Government, all of them resulted with negative results. Sorry for the long message.
