I'm not sure if the house is moved closer to the cemetery or not. I know that the land it was on just recently was sold and they had no interest in the house, so the previous owner (who is big into local history) moved it to his land.

I have been to the Heritage Center but it was over a year ago. There is information there from Johnston and surrounding counties including land deeds, census information, marriage, birth and death info in both written from and on microfiche (spelling?).

Are you planning a trip to go there?
