Diane, thanks for your notes on Thomas Altman's family. If I find out anything else, I will let you know. If Thomas and Nancy had a son named Thomas, I wonder what happened to him - where he lived or where he settled. In the note of "09 Jan. 1793 Thos Altman of Jo. Co. to Thomas Altman, son for good!Wrong!!!!! causes me thereunto leaving 1 tract on NS Bushes Creek,........" Signed: Thomas(S)Altman, do you know why the word "wrong" is inserted and what is meant by it? Is this a will? I did not think that he left a will.

I do not know of any male Altman relatives. My grandmother was an Altman.
