Thanks, Diane, for your information. Was Thomas Altman the father of Nathan Altman? I did not have a male relative that could do a DNA test. A Nancy Altman had a will with her estate left to her son Nathan Altman. Do you know if this Nancy Altman was Thomas Altman's wife? I think Nathan had a brother Joel who was also married to a Nancy and they had a son named Nathan. This Nathan was too young to be the father of Alfred Altman. All of this is very confusing. I guess what I want to know is: Which Nathan was Alfred Altman's father? Who was his paternal grandfather - Thomas Altman? Which Thomas? There are so many????? Alfred Altman was my great, great grandfather.
