Debra, This is what we have in the book.
Fannie J. Altizer was married 30 Nov 1898 in Tazewell Co. Va (Tz Co Marr Bk 3, page 125,line 190) to Huffard Whitaker born circa 1878, son of John Whitaker and Nancy ?. Performed by J.N. Johnson.
1900 Taz Co Census-shows them living with Elizabeth Altizer-mother-in-law
Fannie's parents were Adam Altizer b March 1844 and Elizabeth L. "Betsy" Stephenson.
Fannie and Huffard had one child that we found: Marvin K. Whitaker born Jul 1899, Va.
I will look for a tombstone at the cem the next time I go over to church..am going on vacation tomorrow for a couple of weeks..so give me time...keep in touch...would like to know her decs if you don't mind..
