Diamond Altizer was my father's cousin. Daddy knew him, and the last time he visited Diamond was in the summer of 1968. I have something that Diamond made that daddy brought home, and I treasure it. Daddy spoke of Sandlick often.
I wish I knew more about the details of my relatives in the area around there. Daddy told me I was related to everybody up there. I know I still have lots of relatives around Bruno, West Virginia.
