Hi Mary;
Yes this is my line of Alston's. In your previous posting on Nathanial K Alston's children, you missed Nathaniel Kimbrough 21 July 1850 & Matilda Winifred "Mattie" 4 May 1857.
Now Nathaniel Alston 1775-1852 was found living in his daughter's household (Sarah Amanda (Alston) Spinks, wife of William Lewis Spinks) in Baldwin Co., AL in 1850 census. He died two years later, perhaps still living in Baldwin, we have not located any records.
With the possible Nathaniel Alston living in Lauderdale Co., MS in 1840 census, we have a new area to search for records. I have not had time to do this yet, but will have to find time in the near future.
