Hello Ms. Hoyle
My grandfather's name was William Alston, he was married to Emma Pope Alston. They had 4 children: Queen Angeline, William Henry, Jr., Julia Lee, & my mom, Emma Jane.
The children were all born in Weldon, N. C.. I'm not sure where Granddad was born, but after his wife died, married Mary I. Smith & the family moved to Baltimore, Md.
