Hello. My great great grandmother was Mrs. S.F. Alston who resided in Atlanta during the late 19th century. I am uncertain about her first name, either Susan or Sarah French (alston). I do know that there were two listings for S.F. Alston around 1900 in the Atlanta city directory, one was 15 E. Cain Street and the other at 116 Stonewall. These could either be the same or different women. I am curious to know how the photo came into your possession. Did you find it in Atlanta? Any other info or artifacts from this family? I've had a very difficult time tracing my Georgia Alstons and would be thrilled if this were my connection. Please e mail me at dura7mater@aol.com Thanks so much, Karon in Miami
