Henry Alston was listed with 27 slaves in the 1850 census of Union Co., GA

T. M. Alston was listed with 11 slaves in the 1850 census of Union Co., GA

The 1860 census of Towns Co., GA lists Alston slave owners as Charley (5), James (2), and Matthew (9)

The 1870 census of Towns Co., GA. lists one black Alston family: Green (60), Charlotte (40), Esther (22), Emily (8), John (2), Temy (10), James D. (8), George W. (6), Thomas N. (4), and Ruthy E. (1).

The 1880 census of Towns Co., GA. lists Harriett Alston (16).
