John Dawson and Charity Alston, married Elizabeth Dorothy Atherton, daughter of Col. Jeptha Atherton, Sr. and his wife Elizabeth. I have record of two Children, Elizabeth Dorothy, who m. John Dawson, Jr., and Francis, who m. Gideon Alston. The family seemed to intermarry a lot within the Alson, Williams, Dawson and Boddie families. I have a fairly complete file on these individuals and will gladly send you a gedcom if you are able to open it. Let me know.
