John Alston arvd S.C. 1763-
dist. Surveyor appointment by the Crown. Married Mary Boyd 7Apr1768. Children David (My Line), Samuel(S.C.Legislator),Mary, Agnes, Anne, James, Jane, Margarette, Charnel and John. Anne b. 1773 ca. m. James Owens-Children Alston, Samuel, James B., William A., Jesse and Mary. Mary m. Dr. William Smart. Mary died about 1850.
