I am trying to find out the parentage of William Beach Alston, who was born in New Jersey about 1825. He married Elizabeth Arlington. William is listed on the New Jersey 1850 and 1860 census for Belleville Township. Elizabeth was born about 1826 in Ireland and died on October 15th 1896 in Newark, New Jersey. Their daughter Sarah M. Alston was born on February 6th 1849 and died on February 19th 1892. She married Henry A. Stivers on February 1st 1864 in New York, New York. Henry was born February 6th 1843 and died on April 20th 1917. Elizabeth, Sarah and Henry are all buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside, New Jersey along with Louis Long Langfeld, who married Sarah and Henry's daughter, Emma Augusta Stivers. Louis was born on October 20th 1860 and died on June 18th 1937. Louis and Emma were my great-grandparents. Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, James Alston Heath Jr.
