I have a listing of the Ravencroft Cemetery near Covington,Tenn. that lists a lot of Alstons. Rev. Philip W. Alston is listed as the son of Philip and Elizabeth Alston. He was born in Warren Co., N.C. Feb. 28, 1813 and died in Maury Co., Tenn. June 19, 1837. He was the rector of Calvary Church in Memphis, Tenn.
