Seeking info on Philip ALSTON, (b. abt 1740, N.C., s/o Solomon ALSTON, Sr. and Nancy (Anne) HINTON). Along with his brother John (b. abt 1735 N.C.) lived in Natchez,MS area during period of Rev. War. Philip m. Mildred McCOY (I have no info on her) and had son James McCoy ALSTON and also a dgtr Frances (Franky/ie)ALSTON who m. James DROMGOOLE (he is on record as a Rev.War vet. I need more info' on Philip and Mildred and their descendants. I am a descendant of Margaret DROMGOOLE(dgtr of James and Frankie)
who married Silas RAWLS and were parents of Daniel Alston RAWLS and Job Bass RAWLS(my ggrandfather, who m. Elizabeth M. DARWIN. Would greatly appreciate hearing from any one with any of these connections to my Philip ALSTON. Estelle
