Sounds like I am on the same line. My grandfather, Burrell Anderson Cooley, was the son of Burrell Cooley and Malinda Alston.
Most of the Alstons are buried in the Gray/Alston Cemetery in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. Some are in the Newlin and Hagar Cemeteries there, also. We have a large file and would be glad to share info.
