Charles H Alston b 1836 in Tn. (unknown parents also
b Tenn). First found him in 1860 Dyersburg, Tn. Married
twice first unknown, second to Maria Leach in 1867.
Children were James b1860, Shali Estah b1863, Jennie Beck b1870,
and Thaddeus Leach Alston b1874.
Charles was a riverboat pilot, and owned a farm in Dyers
burg, Tn. He was a Sgt. in the CSA during the war. He and
his 2nd wife lived after 1900 in Dyersburg.
Any information on this line would be helpful.
