Would like to know if there are any descendants of John Alston/Mary, Chowan Co. NC, whose lineages are still unknown, up to at least the year 1800. I am still trying to connect my "brick wall", Peter B. Alston, born 1796, SC
(per 1850 Federal Census) who married Martha King, born 1799, NC (per 1850 Federal Census), in 1819, in Halifax, NC with his family. I am not having much luck researching the SC Alstons. Any information concerning any unknown lineages from the NC Alston family will be very much appreciated.
