If you will look up a book "The Alston-Allston Families" - published 1901, ny Joseph A. Groves, it will give you lots of information. It is out of print but if you feel it is your line, Alstons were prominent in GA, then it is worth your while to contact the Higgenson book people and order a copy. It is a little over $40.00. Also look in LDS Lib. They have info on microfiche on the Alstons that you can order.
