Hi Marva, I don't visit genforum a lot since most of my tree is complete. I think I found one thing, at least, to correct, and I am going to keep looking to solve a couple of others.
I don't know if I gave you the "E. P. Gaines" reference. But looking at it, it obviously should be (Gaines) (E)dmond (P)endleton Alston. He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth House(1853-1876)his FIRST wife, whose father was John B.2. They were married in 1871 at Princeton, AR. Their daughter was Daisy Reyburn Alston b.9-4-1872 at Princeton. D.9-15-1950 in Ponder, Texas.
Gaines' SECOND wife was Martha Jane Franklin (1856-1937). Their daughter, my grandmother, Lillian was the second Lillian named. The first Lillian died at birth in 1878.
Daisy and Lillian were half sisters.
I will get your information into my files and will give you anything that you don't have now, Please let me know what you have on my family in your files, and what you still need.
