It is nice to meet you. I hope the info I have might be able to help you. My great great grandfather's name was Henry Boddie(Boddy); whom I believe was from Edgecombe County, NC. He was born circa 1838? His son my great grand was Claude Boddie who was born in Edgecombe County circa 1875; as well as my grandfather Arthur Boddie. There are some Boddie's from Nash County, NC, but I'm not sure how they might be related. My great grand Claude came from a large family; so I'll attempt to name a few of his siblings to see if their names ring a bell. Roweena, Lula, Anacha, Matilda, Lina and a few more I'll have to look up. I hope this will help.
