Thanks for the note. My line appears to come up through Solomon Alston (m. Ann Hinton) son of the above, Col. John Alston III b. 1670-73 Parvenham, Bedford England (asumed, as this is the link I am trying to confirm) came to Chowan Co. NC, m. in 1701 in Chowan Co, Mary Clark.
John's mother reported as Ann Wallis, and Father John Alston II (whose mother reported as Lady Dorothy Temple).
My line runs down from Col. John to son Solomon, to son Philip, to son John McCoy, to John D. Alston, to son Napoleon Bonaparte Alston to my GGrandmother Sillesteen Clark Alston. Thanks Ed Stump
The question is, confirmation of the link between the Alstons of O'Dell Castle, and the immigrant John Alston who married Mary Clank and fathered Solomon Alston, and 10 other children.?? Thanks, Ed Stump
