In the following report from the Natchez court records, Philip Alston was the executor of John Campbell's will. Does anyone know who this John Campbell was, and who his children were that were in Georgia at the time?

"17 Sept. 1781. James Truly and Peter Hawkins, sureties for Henry Roach, for the safety of the property of the children of the late Campbell, who are at present in Georgia, in America, claimed by Henry Roach out of the estate of Philip Alston, a fugitive Rebel, who was executor of the will of the late John Campbell and who, as such, was in possession of the whole property. Creditors are now claiming the amount of their debts. Wit: Francois Farrell, Alexander McIntosh, Anthony Hutchins."
