Yes, I think it is up in the air (so to speak) about whether Robert Alston Jr was the son of Robert Alston Sr or his brother William. The notes along with transcriptions in graveyard said son of Robert Alston Sr, however I have also seen that census and feel it is more likely he was the son of brother William Alston and named after the brother. I tried writing the man who put the 'note' on the cemetery transcriptions, to find out his source, but he did not reply.
