I have the 1830 U.S. Census records of Samuel M. Alsobrook (Alsbrook is the way it was transcribed to
Born 10 Dec 1796 in No. Carolina and by 1830 was living in Smithland, Livingston County, KY and in 1850 at Dyers Hill, Livingston County, KY.
Samuel died 28 June 1861
Married to Lucinda Champion, born 6 Sept 1795, also in North Carolina and died 31 Jan 1856.
Daughter of Willis Champion 1765-1846 and Sarah Pippin 1775-1836

Samuel's father was named John Alsobrook and I have no information on his mother's name.
John was born in 1750 in Hallifax, North Carolina and is listed in the American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI) volume: 03, page: 462.
Also listed in the 1800 U.S. Fed Census: Age: 50. (Page 2 or 37 North Carolina, Halifax, Hallifax. There are 11 Alsobrook heads of families listed on this page.

Samuel and Lucinda had the following children:

Joshua born 1835 (10 May) In Livingston County, KY Died 24 Jan 1919
John born 1834
Samuel born 1836
Henry born 1839

Joshua married Harriet Ramage 1837 - 1907

Lewis Andrew married Sarah Francie Hardin 1865 - 1917
My grandfather Edgar F. Alsobrook was born in 1890 died in 1975

Lena Frances 1895-1931
Clenton 1901

Great grandmother Sarah Francie Hardin was a great, great, great granddaughter of Major John Hardin (1710-1789) killed in Nelson County, KY on 13 October.
