I am a descendent of Samuell Alsobrooke on my mother's side. I have the same information as you do concerning the Ironmunger's. Samuell was born between 1660 and 1662 in England and died 1696 in Surry County, Virginia. Have lots of information on land Samuell owned and of his children being adopted out after his death. I have Mary Ironmonger born in 1653 and died 2 May 1693 in Surry County, Virginia.
Their children were:Mary, Samuell Jr, Thomas and John. It is thought that Samuell sailed to the US from the Isle of Wright (unconfirmed).

4-10-2001 - Leslie Crunk said she found a book containing information about Samuell and Mary. The name of the book is "High Family Notes - Descendant of Thomas High, Surry County, Virginia" compiled by Grace High Lawrence. Salt Lake City Library number 929.273H537L. The High family came down through Samuell Alsobrook and Mary Ironmonmger's daughter Mary, who married a Mr. HIgh.

If I can be of help, let me know

Gene Rogers
