Hello! My Great Grandfather was Duran Newton Alsobrook, brother to your Amos T. Alsobrook. Duran married Sarah Elizabeth Bradshaw. They had 10 children: Mary Jane, George Washington, Joseph Duran, General, Rueben, Elizabeth, Martha Jane, Little Buddy, Noah Amous, and Newton Ollen Alsobrook. My grandmother, Martha Jane Alsobrook, married John Bell Lewis. Their son, John Milas Lewis, married my mother, Lucy Townzen. I am Mary Lewis Cunningham. I have a lot of info on my line from Duran Newton Alsobrook and some of his ancestors. Also there are some websites with Alsobrook info:
Alsobrook Web pages:
Mary Walls

Rosalyn Alsobrook

Steve Moody

And if you go back to Samuel Alsobrook, son of Samuel, whose mother was Mary Ironmonger, her parents were Thomas Ironmonger and Mary Hux. Mary Hux's parents were: John Hux and Jane Gray. And Jane Gray links back to all the royal families of Europe.
I don't have the journals, pictures, biographies or autobiographies you're looking for tho, wish I did!
