I would like to propose a collection of all information on the Alsobrook family (and various spellings), before 1800. I don't think there will be so much we couldn't compile it into one record. If we all put our stuff (wills, deeds, births, deaths, observations) we should have a fine record. Where possible, people should give sources.
Anyone volunteering to be compiler? I can after July 1, 2003 (retirement date!) I propose that this material be in the public record (no copyright) so that we and our children can share. Please e-mail me if you wish to join to contribute and receive. I propose that we organize by year to start. When we get all the pieces, we can try putting them together. Sample: 1678 Samuell Alsebrooke was listed as owning tithable land in Surry County, Va. (Clark, p. 188)
