I WANT TO PUT MY TWO CENT IN ON THIS.THE SAMUEL ALSOBROOK AND HIS BROTHER THAT SAILED ON THE SHIP ELENOR IN THE EARLY 1700'S I THINK WERE SAILORS THAT WENT TO NOTTINGTON VISITING FAMILY OF THEIR GRAND FATHER SAMUALL ALSOBROOKE THAT LIVED IN SURRY VA.. SOMEONE SENT ME THE PAGE THINKING IT WAS THE SHIP THE ALSOBROOKE'S SAIL ON BUT WHEN I CHECKED IT OUT I FOUND THE DATES WERE 100 YEARS LATER. THIS WEEK ON THE HISTORY CHANNEL THEY TALKED OF THE SHIP ELENOR SAILING INTO BOSTON, IT WAS OWNED BY ONE OF THE AMERICAN FOUNDING FATHERS WHO WAS A MERCHANCE. AS FOR MARY IRONMONGER WHO WAS MARRIED TO SAMUALL ALSOBROOKE, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN SHE WAS BORN BUT THEY KNOW WHEN SHE DIED. NOW.... HOW MANY MARY IRONMONGER LIVE IN SURRY COUNTY, VA. IN 1650? THERE IS ANOTHER AT THE SAME TIME. THEY KNOW WHEN SHE WAS BORN BUT DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO HER WHEN HER HUSBAND DIED. SHE CAN BE TRACKED BACK TO KING EDWARD OF ENGLAND.
