The reason I started looking at the Alsobrook family was because of two land sales involving Joseph John Worley:

26 Jul 1788- Indenture made for sale of land by Malachi Watts of Anson County, NC to Joseph John Worley of Anson County, NC for 50.

21 Oct 1799- Indenture made for sale of land by Joseph John Worley of Anson County, NC to Lemuel Alsobrook of Anson County, NC for 80.

It was interesting to find that Watts and Alsobrook might be related. Also, Joseph John Worley is supposed to have had a son Willis.
