dear robin,

will you please ask your grandfather if he knows when the first alphin family moved to Randolph County, and where they were from? also, isaac mcdonald's 1844 will mentions elizabeth alphin as an heir: was she isaac's daughter? whom did she marry? other Randolph Co. surnames mentioned in his will were Tyler, Biggs and Russell. any connections? Thanks! carlyn
