No, I'm not related to these people. I just happened to see your question, and since I own the Emigranten CD-ROM and knew about the Jönköping church record transcriptions website, I decided to answer.
There are good possibilities to find earlier generations in the transcriptions, either in Jönköping or in the nearby parishes.

It isn't complete yet, but pretty much is transcribed already.
Even better and more detailed are the real records, available in microfilmed photocopies at the Family History Centers.

Vigde = Marriages
Döde = Deaths
Husförhörslängd = Annual census
