I have recently come across family information where my first generation started with George Almeroth, from France, around 1790 he came to the US. I do not know if he was already married but her name is unknown. He died in the War of 1812. He had 2 children, John Almarode, And Amanda Almarode. Is this the same family you speak of, possible?? I have more information if needed.
