As far as I know the D'Almeidas I am tracing were not in the Azores. Jose D'Almeida Carvalho e Silva went to Macao where he married in 1810, several children were born there then the family moved to Singapore in 1825 where more children were born (a total of 19 or 20 children). I do not have information of descendants of all these children. Was all your family born in the Azores?
