The information that was given to me by a deceased uncle who travelled to England to
research the Allyn lineage. I do have his hand written notes and some microfilm on certain cemeteries he visited.
I have Margaret Wyatt marrying Richard Allyn on September 24,1583 in Braunton. Their children were Emett 1584, Wilmot 1590,Thomas 1597, Richard 1601, and Matthew 1605. His will dated 1647 mentions ten grandchildren. He died in 1652. Three sons emigrated to America. I have all the information on Thomas (my line) who came first to Scituate and then to Barnstable. I believe Matthew came to Windsor, Ct and either his line or another to the New London, Ct area. Could this Margaret Wyatt have been a neice of Richard Allyn's wife? We all know that there was a lot of marriages within families.
