My mother is Ruth Kingston nee Allwood whose
great-great-great grandfather was William Allwood b. 1728 married Mary Davison, was an itinerant Methodist preacher close to John Wesley who settled to farming at Burland Farm
nr Nantwich and died there 1811.
My mothers father was Thomas Allwood b. 1867, m. Harriett Dutton b. 1871 (who herself was the daughter of an Emma
Allwood d. 1873).

Will be very interested to hear from anybody in this same Cheshire branch of the Allwood family.
