In 1995, I ordered a surname directory that contained a listing of many Alls families compiled from electoral rolls, telephone books, city directories, etc. It listed 275 Alls households in the United States in 31 states with the largest number found in Virginia. There were 9 in Canada, 1 in New Zealand, and 11 in Great Britain (including you) with none in Australia, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and Italy.
A current search of the directory listings at ancestry.com shows 299 in the U.S., 7 in Canada, 12 in Spain, 3 in the U.K., 2 in Germany, 2 in Italy, 1 in France, and 5 listings for Allso in Denmark.
Personally, the only members of the Alls family that I have ever met were all descended from my great-grandfather.
