The book "The Allred Family in America, Vol. I, p. 2-1 & 2-5, by R. C. Allred states that Thomas Allred, b. abt. 1730, married Elizabeth Twiggs? They had 10 children, their ninth being Thomas Allred, Jr., b. abt. 1772. This Thomas Allred, Jr. married Margaret Alldredge, and they had at least 5 children before moving to Blount Co., AL.

Sally Allred, dau. of Thomas, Jr. and Margaret, above, married Doctor Graves in 1819 in Jefferson Co., AL, and then he died in 1821-22.

On page 1-5 of the same book, John Allred, b. abt. 1736, married Margaret Cheney (or Chaney). They had 12 children.
