I would think a good possibility for the Thomas Allred was the Thomas (b. abt. 1762) who married Margaret Alldredge (b. abt 1766, NC), d/o Nathan Alldredge (b. ca 1739). Your Sarah could be related to them. Thomas did live in Tennessee about that time and Nathan Alldredge died in 1826, Knox Co., TN.
Thomas Allred, his wife, Margaret, and at least one of Margaret's siblings, moved from Tennessee to Blount Co., Alabama, and are linked by marriage to my Allreds who were living in next-door Jefferson Co.
My gggrandfather, Isaac Allred, had a grandson named Julian, which leads to some interesting speculation.
