I am a descendant of Catherine Allred Julian. She was married first to a Madden according to our family. At any rate, she later married Rene Julian in Randolph Co., NC and they moved to Knox Co., TN. Their son Stephen Allred Julian, b. 1776 NC, married Sarah Byram, daughter of Ebenezer and Lydia Guerin Byram in 1799 in Knox Co., TN. They were orginally from Morris Co., NJ and Randolph Co., NC. Ebenezer Byram was actually born in Bridgewater, MA in 1744 son of Ebenezer and Abigail Alden Byram. Abigail was a descendant of John Alden of the Mayflower.

Stephen Allred and Sarah Byram Julian moved to Webster Co., MO around 1844 with most of their married children. Stephen died there in 1852 and Sarah in 1863.

Their daughter Huldah Julian, b. 1816 Knox Co,. TN married William D. Grills in 1835 Knox Co., TN and moved with her parents to Missouri. They later went to Izard Co., Ark. with their daughters after 1860 where they both died between 1880 and after 1890.

Huldah C. Grills, daughter of William D. and Huldah Julian Grills, b. 1853 MO, d. 1925 Izard Co., Ark. was my great-great grandmother.

If any of you need this information, I will be glad to correspond with you.
