There's a whole herd of them in Lincoln. My mother and an uncle live in Ohatchee, or nearby. I also have aunts in Anniston, Vestavia Hills, and Missippi.

My grand-father was Bernard Bobo Allred, married Helen Lucille Hogue.

My grand-aunts Bea, Sue & Agnes were born and died at the 'old-place' about a mile from the Winston 500. They told me their father, Charlie Patterson Allred, was 'prominent' in Talladega and Lincoln.

Aunt Bea once wrote me "...a confederate soldier up an married a injun princess..." and aunt Phyl and I really would like to know who that was. I figure the injun princess must have been Cherokee and was either a Holder or Allred ancestor.
