Maranda Allred is my great-great-grandfather. His daughter Catherine "Cath" Elizabeth Allred married Alfred Greenberry Cochran. They lived in Ball Ground, Ga. until the 1920's when they moved to Waleska, GA. Bother Alfred and Cath are buried at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Cherokee Co., GA. Their first son's name was David Maranda Cochran. The first name after Alfred's father and the middle name after Cath's father.
