Clemmons Mimus Allred, and widow Etta T.

I just found last night a great site for searching and ordering civil war pension records for both soldiers and widows living in TN. Apparently they did not have to fight in a TN regiment. My Great Grandfather in the subject above is listed with the exact pension number, as is his widow Etta T with a separate number. It said he enlisted in the 14th NC infantry company B, and must have moved to Madison County, TN after the war in which he was wounded. These records are available from the TN State library and archives for only $5. They(especially the widow's application) are supposed to be 4-5 pages of information on the family an related information. I'm not certain, but I think this is my Great Grandparents and that is the first time I have connected a spouse's name with Clemmons Mimus Allred. If anyone is interested email me and I'll send you the link. Hot on the trail.....Jim
