I just received information about my ALLRED family. Some of it being family folklore and some hard research. Here are some excerpts:
"As legend has it, our Great Great Grandparents came over from Ireland to North Carolina, migrated on to Tennessee and down into Alabama. Our Great Grandfather, ANDY ALLRED, moved on down in and near the Montgomery area......He was a wonderful mathematician and was employed as an auditor for the State of Alabama. Details are unknown."

Andrew's son Joseph settled around Hanceville, AL. I have more information on his line.
Several slight similarities here don't you think?
