Hi Faye, Thanks for answering my plea for help. The names you listed are not familiar to me, however, I plan to look through my notes and see if anything matches. It is possible that my gggrandmother Jane Allred was related somehow. Since the oldest child that I know about in the James Carter & Jane Allred family was b in 1816, James and Jane would have to have been b before 1800, I would think. Will look for Talbot Allred family in the archives to see what I can find and if there wasy a will. The will I'm seeking, so I have been told by relatives, listed the children of this union, which included my ggrandfather. Will let you know what I find. Many thanks for your help.
