Trying to locate info on the parents of Isaac P. Allred b. 1816 either in KY or TN,probably close to the border, which changed the boundery after Isaac was born, thus the discrepancy in "State of birth" between early & later census forms. I believe his brother to be a James H. M. Allred b. KY/TN abt 1805.
They both lived in Fayette Co, AL then Isaac moved on to Marion Co., AL then on to Alcorn which later became part of Prentiss County, MS. They lived close to a little town called Jacinto. Isaac P. Allred was married to a Nelly Ellender Gregory, she was from GA. Her family eventually moved on to Texas, around the Houston area. The following are the children of Isaac & Nelly :Joshua Henry, John, Samuel M., Levi, Martha J., Thomas Palmer, James, William, Sarah Kate, & Matilda. Isaac died before 1880 & Nelly was living with her son, Thomas Palmer Allred in Fayette Co., AL during the time of the 1880 Federal Census. Nelly & Isaac are both probably buried in Fayette County, but not sure. Any info about this ALLRED clan would be greatly appreciated.
