In Reply to: Emmett L. Allred WWII Army Airborne by Tammy Paynter of 1266

This is a very old message but I think my Uncle Emmett Allred is the Emmett Allred Tammy is searching for. While I don't know all the details, he served in World War II in the AirBorne and his birth date is probably 1926 or a little earlier. He is still alive and living in Cullman, Alabama and is one of the best story tellers ever - although, I've never heard him talk about his experiences in WWII - my dad served under Patton - 1st Army and he never wanted to talk much either. Both supposedly were at the Battle of the Bulge.
